Since this is a smaller trailer you can definitely get away with a 13,500 BTU unit. This would have the controls on the air distribution box instead of a wall mounted thermostat. We don't currently have any systems with a wireless remote. The 15,000 Btu Furrion air conditioner is what I would recommend and what I have on my trailer. Since it is an enclosed trailer I'm guessing you want the manual distribution box. You can choose from the following based on color:

In order to do this, you will need get a whole new AC unit system since there aren't any adapter kits that allow you to simply plug and play the installation. Another major issue is your Honda EU2200i generator is definitely going to be too small to power an AC unit that will do a better job of keeping up with the desert heat on legit hot days. While the 13.5K air conditioner might seem like overkill do remember your enclosed trailer is going to have virtually 0 insulation. So it is going to take a lot more cooling power to keep it cool on the hot days. Hello Frank, we do offer AC units that will replace your current Dometic unit. In most cases it makes sense to replace only the rooftop portion and leave everything inside the camper as-is. That said, I am not sure how old your current unit is, but a new upgraded distribution box might be a good idea. They are not terribly expensive, and it will be easy to add on since you will be disconnecting and removing the rooftop portion anyways.

We offer a variety of plumbing vents and 12v fan vents but we unfortunately do not offer skylights. The replacement lid you're looking for is the Camco Replacement Lid for Jensen RV Roof Vent w/ Pin-Style Hinge # CAM40147. This is designed for standard 14" x 14" vent covers which you actually have. The 14" measurement is taken from the opening up above which is why your measurements are slightly different.
